Liquorice extract with propolis increases capacity to work, is used in bronchial asthma, diseases of upper respiratory tract, weakness (asthenic conditions), hypotonia, adrenal hypofunction, during diseases of the digestive tract, including gastric and duodenal ulcers.
In traditional Chinese medicine liquorice is commonly used in herbal formulae to "harmonize" the other ingredients and to carry the formula to the twelve meridians and to relieve a spasmodic cough. It can also be used for auto-immune conditions including lupus, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis and animal dander allergies. Liquorice may be useful in conventional and naturopathic medicine for both mouth ulcers and peptic ulcers. Liquorice is also a mild laxative and may be used as a topical antiviral agent for shingles, ophthalmic, oral or genital herpes.
In India it is used as a remedy with the following effects: Tonic, Diuretic, Mucosa protector (Demulcent), promotes drainage of mucus from the lungs (Expectorant), Laxative. Used for allaying coughs and catarrhal infections. Useful in irritable conditions of mucous memberane of Urinary organs. Useful in sore throat, cough, anorexia and persistent low fever.

Components of the liquorice root are analogical to glucocorticoids and have anti-inflammatory effects. Preparations from liquorice are effective during sight, skin and other disorders of inflammatory character, during respiratory disorders, lung tuberculosis, bronchial asthma. It is an excellent anti-ulcerous remedy suitable for treating diarrhea. Liquorice has strong anti-cancerous effect because of high concentration of glycyrrhizin. Its roots contain triterpenoids, which have effect on the malignant process. They interrupt multiplication of cancer cells, inhibit prostaglandin synthesis (which supports growth of tumors), prevent the action of estrogens that promote breast and uterine cancer. Stimulate pre-cancerous cells to returning to the standard regime.
Content: 1 tablet contains 0.01g of propolis, 0.1g liquorice extract (licorice, liquorice, Glycirhiza glabra), milk sugar, starch, Aerosil, calcium stearate to the total weight of 0.45 g.
Application: Adults 2 tablets 30 minutes before meal 3 times daily during 3 weeks. Repeat the course 3-4x.
Caution: Not suitable for people allergic to bee products.
