"Chaga" also known as a Cinder conk (Inonotus obliquus) is a legendary fungi that grows on birch trees in Siberia. It has been used for centuries mainly in Russia to heal diseases of digestive tracts, immunity and skin problems. Cinder conk contains several unique healing matters such as betulin, cinder conk inonotus acid, trace elements and melanin. The most effective is melanin which has almost the same structure as human melanin in skin cells and that is why it can penetrate into skin cells easily and heal them deeply.
Birch buds are a major source which bees use to produce propolis. Birch buds are an excellent wound-healing agent which is often used to heal several skin diseases, poorly healing wounds, bruises and bedsores, haemorrhoids, various forms of eczema and has disinfectant and antiinflammatory effects.
